Oldie of the week – By the time I get to Phoenix (Sinatra)

Frank’s version of the Glen Campbell hit.  Sadness without the twang.  Sweetness without the sugar.

If I were Mr. DJ, I would dedicate this song to KL, from her “lost” B.

UPDATE:  Call-in request from Aussie Stressed.. It sounds very Paul Anka, almost like “My Way.”  This is also dedicated to Y, B, and B.  May they grow well.

And here’s the same at slow speed by Paul Anka himself.

  1. “There’s a certain thing about you, summer, fall and spring about you. I could write and sing about you, and never run out, never run out (no).

Never run out of what you’re all about.
Oh babe, I’ll be there , I’ll be there anytime.”

    I could say the same…
